Visionael Achieves Second Consecutive
Year of Record Growth in 2006
 

Acquisitions and Headcount Increases Help Company
Achieve 58 Percent Year-on-year Increase

3GSM, BARCELONA, Spain - Feb. 15, 2007 -- Visionael Corporation, a leading provider of next-generation service automation and delivery management software and services, today announced a second consecutive year of record-breaking results for fiscal year 2006, with annual revenue again growing more than 50 percent.

During the year, Visionael grew its license revenue by 224 percent and significantly expanded its global partner base of system integrators, managed service providers and network outsourcers. As part of its new strategic focus, the company also acquired Swedish-based Defero in October, significantly increasing its communications service provider expertise. It also unveiled the Visionael Service Automation Suite. Headcount increased 56 percent, with key executive hires from Cisco, Nokia, Cramer/Amdocs and JacobsRimell.

The Defero acquisition has expanded Visionael's operations support system (OSS) footprint with several new communications service provider customers, including TDC-Song and Swedish Railways. The deal has also strengthened Visionael's ability to support service providers in the rollout of next-generation services across IP networks. Defero's opeXtreme software, which allows next-generation service operators to automate service activation — especially the provisioning of complex multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) services — has been integrated in Visionael's latest offerings.

In 2006, Visionael also unveiled a new Service Automation Suite that includes the newly acquired technology and expertise. The combined solution, a next-generation OSS inventory, provisioning and activation solution for IP services, enables automated service activation without manual interaction, breaking down the technological silos between multiple network services, and offering service providers and managed service providers one transparent platform for the definition of services, regardless of technology and vendor. This ensures that information can be stored across the entire span of a next-generation network, eliminating inefficiencies and delivering the highest quality of service.

In 2006, the company achieved unprecedented levels of customer satisfaction, with more than 95 percent of its customer base renewing or expanding their agreements. It also signed new customers across a range of industries, including leaders in network outsourcing, mobile telephony, cable and DSL. Visionael now counts many of the world's largest companies as customers, including six of the top network outsourcers.
